The family literacy program shares tools and strategies with participants, encouraging them to increase reading fundamentals and home activities and make reading a daily practice — which helps to improve K-12 success.
Sessions meet monthly. During each session, participants will be given activities and resources to reinforce topics covered.
Family Literacy Topics:
-
Encouraging your child to read
-
At home science experiments
-
Tools to help your child with math (even if you aren't good at it)
-
Teaching your child about goal setting
-
Helpful resources in your community and more!
