More than 48 million adults in the United States cannot read, write, or do basic math above a third-grade level. By increasing adult literacy rates, we positively affect poverty, K-12 test scores, economic prosperity, emotional and physical health, and other social issues. Lee County LITERACY COALITION offers FREE one-to-one tutoring for ADULTS in reading, writing, math, computer, and GED preparation with financial, health and digital/workplace literacy workshops. Additional programs include ESL services and family literacy.
