Become a DIFFERENCE Maker!

AmeriCorps is a national service organization that provides support through funding and people to power more than 2,000 organizations across America. AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers serve with organizations to strengthen communities across our nation.
Through an AmeriCorps grant award, Lee County LITERACY COALITION will onboard ten (10) Summer Associates to support capacity building efforts by assisting with community outreach, engagement, and program delivery to strengthen service impact and increase volunteer recruitment. Their contributions will help promote equitable access to literacy education, job opportunities, and essential resources for adults and families experiencing low literacy. Candidates must be at least 18 years old (no upper age limits); serving June 1 - August 2, 2026.
Summer Associate

Individuals should be self-starters, compassionate, willing to encourage others, share positivity, and make new, fulfilling connections. Training is provided; no experience needed.
