Health Literacy Workshop
Workshops will provide participants information to better advocate for themselves, understand food labels to make informed choices, prepare and ask questions of health care providers for a better understanding of the medical advice and best practices for overall health and wellness. Workshops are available at no-cost.
Many types of cancers are related to excess body weight and poor nutrition. Americans can potentially reduce the risks of certain cancers by changing certain eating habits. This presentation will focus on healthy eating recommendations including foods to avoid to lower cancer risk.
